Celebrating the beautification of the bride-to-be, the Mehndi Ceremony is dedicated to the applying of henna to the hands and feet of the bride in intricate patterns. Traditionally, the bride's female relatives and closest friends also get mehndi designs on their hands, making it a cherished bonding experience.
Beyond its beauty, the Mehndi Ceremony is imbued with cultural significance – serving as a moment for women to impart wisdom, blessings, and well-wishes to the bride as she embarks on her new journey.
All guests will have the option to receive henna designs at our event. The designs are believed to bring good luck, health, and prosperity to the bride and groom in their future together.

Traditionally the first event to include both families, the Haldi Ceremony, is marked by its simplicity and warmth as loved ones take turns applying an ayurvedic blend to the bride and groom's skin.
This ayurvedic blend, made from turmeric, yogurt, sandalwood and rose water, is believed to carry the essence of the earth itself and signifies purification, protection, and grounding; while the ceremony itself is believed to bless the couple, bestow a radiant glow, and bring good fortune.

Beginning the wedding ceremonies with a riot of sound and color, the Baraat is not just a procession but a celebration of the groom's journey towards a new chapter in life. The procession is a grand display of happiness, cultural heritage, and the communal spirit of togetherness.
Upon arriving at the wedding venue, the groom and his entourage are greeted by the bride's family and friends with a warm welcome and traditional rituals. The energy and sheer joy of the occasion make the Baraat a memorable highlight of the wedding festivities, setting the tone for the sacred ceremonies to follow.
Transportation to/from SmdA proper available throughout Cocktail Hour.
